well, im an artist. always have been, always will be. and its not just what i do...its who i am.

not much here. i have had no training or teaching. im i guess what they call one with natural talent... is this natural talent gonna get me to be where i want to be... i so much want to be a "profesional" artist. what ever that means to the public im not sure but; what it means to me is so much more. this is my life and is what i was meant to do i know... how does the artist make the next step to life long enlightenment...and a paycheck to go along with it... i believe the computer has put such a damper on the life journey of so many fine artists... well... were do we go from here...

ummm. u can see some more of my stuff at myspace. the url is www.myspace.com/dikeadelic. also some stuff at www.meanartstudio.com...wish i had more to say...

video games, music and horror flicks. sitting on the floor all day with just me my pencil, and some paper...

The footprint is remarkable. I know a few friends who have kids who'd love one like that. So precious.

Pretty cool Art! Thanks for sharing. I like how you say "Art is not just what you do, it's who you are!" I agree, i'm feeling you on that statement, and i can definitely relate to you on what you wrote in your biography area. Much love to you. Keep the faith in what you do. Hold on-to and never let it go, and strive baby, your dreams and talents will definitely take you where you want to go! All you have to do is keep doing what's in your heart to do and believe. Much love to you. I like your avatar picture too. It's unique. Peace - China

i hope i actually get around to doing the project, any project really. as for media i would use connte' or pastel. charcoal is great but that absolute black is hard to get. I also can get a little crazy and mix media or whatever. I also tend to go for color black and white, huh??? that is to say i use a mix of purple and yellow, say, as opposed to just black and white. ummm i could go on about crap like this for a looong time i i am not careful. uh, i do have a myspace. for what it is worth http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user&My
i am less active there than i could be. ummmm i guess i should get back to work. r.

I have been watching a lot of crappy horror films. from those 50 movies for 30 bucks kind of crap. most are super bad. some are good, many are good fodder for my poor littel mind. i mention this because you said you like horror flicks. I always wanted to do a series of b/w drawings from horror/sci-fi movies. i like the noir lighting and the potential for narrative with in the drawing. i also am interested in pop(or sub) culture as an exploration via art. once again just some yakkety yak.

hey
if you are interested in painting i would suggest you do at least try the oils. it is such a different feel. I.....am into blending/shading and such right now so it is easy for me to say that. On the flip side i do not know your temperment or style in painting, so yes heavy oil application could take a long long time to dry. I am trying to be more long term, or trying to think that way these days. I like instant gratification but not at the cost of a better piece of work. This of course might be all talk but i am at least trying to change my thought process.
anything going on?

how long do you need to do tattoing to be a real tatooist?

Nov 18 2006, 1:25 pm
i dabble in a lot of media, largly out of laziness and a lack of focus. Though i am trying to be a painter with oils i find myself drawn to ball point pens as my hand feels the freest with them.
I am thinking i need to work on illustration for a while: pen, ink, pencil, pastel or what have you. I have had a secret longing to see what i could do if i made a scincere effort at graphic story telling. maybe some day.
you ever paint???
